Introducing Made For Life Organics

We’re delighted to welcome Made for Life Organics to our spa — a brand that embodies everything we believe in: authenticity, sustainability, and care for the whole person.

In this exclusive Q&A, we sat down with the team behind Made for Life to explore the story behind their 100% organic skincare, their pioneering work in inclusive wellness, and what it really means to create products with intention. From hand-blending in Cornwall to championing spa access for those living with cancer, their commitment runs deep — and it shows in every product, every initiative, and every treatment.

Whether you’re discovering the brand for the first time or are already a fan, this is a chance to go behind the label and learn more about the vision, values, and heart behind Made for Life.

The meaning of organic

What does "organic" truly mean to you in the context of skincare, and why is this non-negotiable for Made for Life Organics?

For us, “organic” is more than just a label; it’s a philosophy of life. In skincare, to label a product organic, you only need 1.75% organic ingredients! To us, it means absolute purity: no synthetic chemicals, no hidden toxins, and no compromise. It means ingredients that are grown in harmony with nature, without pesticides or artificial fertilisers. This purity ensures our products are safe for even the most sensitive skin and truly beneficial, delivering not just results but a sense of calm and nourishment. Organic is non-negotiable for us because we honour the connection between people, plants, and the planet. Our 100% organic ingredients underpin our promise that what we create is kind to you and to the Earth.

Supporting sensitive & medically treated skin

How do Made for Life Organics products support sensitised skin during and after medical treatments like cancer care?

Skin affected by medical treatments like chemotherapy or radiotherapy becomes incredibly delicate.  It's often dry, reactive, inflamed, or broken. Conventional products can be too harsh or contain ingredients that compromise skin integrity further. At Made for Life, we hand-blend our formulations using only 100% organic, cold-pressed oils and botanicals that soothe, calm, and support the skin’s natural healing process. Every ingredient is chosen for its therapeutic benefit, like calendula for regeneration, chamomile for inflammation, and rose for emotional balance. Our range is often recommended by oncology professionals and has been tested to be suitable for even the most sensitive skin.

Sustainability & B Corp certification

What does B Corp certification mean for Made for Life Organics, and how do you minimise environmental impact across sourcing and packaging?

Becoming a B Corp was a natural progression for us, and we were the first UK Spa brand to achieve this back in 2019. B Corp certification formalises what we’ve always believed: that business should be a force for good. It holds us accountable across all areas: people, planet, profit, and purpose. We ensure our entire supply chain is as ethical and low-impact as possible. From organic farming and responsible harvesting to fully recyclable, plastic-free packaging, every decision we make is guided by sustainability. Our production runs on green energy, and we minimise waste through small-batch hand-blending. B Corp certification is both a badge of honour and a responsibility we take very seriously. You have to recertify every 2 years, so you are held to account.

Challenges & innovation in organic beauty

What challenges and successes have you faced in pioneering 100% organic certification and innovating in holistic beauty?

One of the biggest challenges is staying truly 100% organic in a world where shortcuts are easy and regulations can be inconsistent. It requires constant vigilance, from sourcing ingredients to certifying every single product. But it’s also our greatest triumph, because that integrity builds trust. Innovation for us doesn’t mean chasing trends; it means deepening our connection to nature and listening to what people really need, whether that’s skincare for cancer patients or menopause support. We often say we’re not in the beauty industry; we’re in the wellbeing space. That mindset keeps us grounded and continually evolving.

Future initiatives & wellbeing expansion

What new projects or initiatives are you working on to further Made for Life Organics and your commitment to wellbeing?

We’re incredibly excited about expanding our education and wellbeing training, from advanced therapist programmes to retreats that deepen the link between self-care and nature. We're also planning to develop new formulations to support hormonal wellbeing, especially around menopause, using ingredients backed by both tradition and science. On a community level, we’re growing our Spa Partner Programme, offering even more resources to therapists and spas who want to lead with compassion and inclusivity. Everything we do centres on one goal: to help people feel well both inside and out.

Long-term vision & mission

What’s your long-term vision for Made for Life Organics, and how do you aim to keep advancing wellbeing and sustainability?

Our vision is to be a global beacon for conscious wellbeing,  a brand that proves you can do business in a way that heals, not harms. We want to continue creating products, therapies, and training that nurture the whole person - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We hope to see every spa and wellness space become inclusive, sustainable, and truly holistic. Ultimately, we believe wellbeing isn’t a luxury; it’s a right. And we’ll keep working, planting, blending, and educating to bring that vision to life, one jar, one treatment, one person at a time.
